DECADES of knowledge INTO DAYS of learning

Classes are taught by market professionals that combine over 35 years of "live-market" experience including: institutional and foreign government trading, market making in Chicago's trading pits, international private banking, investment banking, venture capital, and risk-adjusted portfolio management.

Beginning with the basic rules and reasons to use each of the many execution systems, the psychology of trading begins to become more important here as students are taught what the pro's are doing when they flash, jump, or hold their positions within the market maker boxes.

A composite of market indicators, decision support tools, and proprietary entry/exit timing alerts are used to accelerate a traders learning curve to beyond the average persons "gamblers mentality" to that of a calculating, risk managing, disciplined trader. Each piece of the composite is learned and practiced with before adding subsequent pieces. Then, practice sessions are help with both new tools, then with three of the pieces, etc. until all of the composite system has been learned and integrated.

Along the way, strategies are developed to "front-run" institutional program traders, identify "swing-reversal" entry and exit points, anticipate breakouts in either direction, and play the "fake-out" gap openings that are financial suicide for most traders.

Intermixed throughout the course, the psychology of trading is emphasized from the trader's perspective, as well as the market makers point of view. We believe that if one has insight into the thinking of the opponent, the contest can be fought from a position of greater strength. In addition, considerable time is spent building stop-loss strategies and disciplined rules for when to trade and when not to trade (often the most important scenario).

Once these basic requirements have been learned, traders are ready to take on the daunting tasks of identifying momentum, forecasting trend changes, and positioning oneself for profits.

Advanced technical analysis techniques including Elliott Wave labeling, Fibonacci ratio calculations, classical bar charting, and pattern recognition are taught and used to illuminate high-confidence trades BEFORE the crowd gets in. A multi-position "guerrilla warfare" approach is emphasized to minimize the chances of identifying the trend, but picking the wrong stock and missing the profit opportunity. Finally, time is spent sorting through and replacing over-used strategies that the crowd is using, before they cost the trader their capital.

To personalize the course for each trader, different trading screens are suggested depending on the individual's capital, risk tolerance, and favored trading style so that the maximum amount of relevant information can be filtered. This allows the trader to analyze, strategize, and execute trades from the greatest position of confidence. And, therefore, select, enter, maintain, and push each trade to its maximal profit level while avoiding the wrong ones.
