Elliott / Fibo Wave Guidelines

  Elliott Fibonacci
Wave 1: Goes with the main trend this is X
Wave 2:

Largest corrective pattern
since pattern began
Could be 100% of wave 1
Goes back to wave 4/3 of
previous impulse wave
Usually a 3 leg pattern

Wave 2 is .382x, .5x, or .618x
ie. If wave 1 is 30 pts long then
wave 2 can be 12, 15, 18
Wave 3: Recognition Wave 1.62x or 1x
Wave 4: Usually equal to wave 2 in size
Alternates in pattern, zig-zag
to flat
cannot invade wave 1
Height of wave 2 = height of
wave 4
Wave 5: Usually equal to Wave 1,
especially if wave 3 is longest
Can be extended
Height of wave 1 = height of
wave 5
